Elk Grove's dynamic duo rolls past SCE

Elk Grove routed St. Charles East 60-41 to claim third place in the Neibch Classic.
The Grenadiers (12-3) were led by their senior stars 6-foot Ashley Capotosto and 6-foot-4 Courtney Lindfors. Capostosto scored 29 points and hauled in 11 rebounds. Lindfors scored 21 with 13 boards and had four blocked shots.
St. Charles East (9-5) was paced by senior G Lexi Baltus (23 points), who received all-tournament team honors.
Elk Grove led 25-21 at the intermission.
But the Grens outscored the Saints 21-10 in the third quarter to put the game away. Capotosto (10 points) and Lindfors (eight points),were unstoppable in the period.
Both Lindfors and Capotosto,were named all-tournament selections for the Grenadiers.
