Weather mars iYRA Championship Day
Persistent lightning forced the postponement of several title matches and the cancellation of runners-up championship games at the biggest day on the iYRA's annual calendar.
The Middle School Festival matches were played, highlighted by Arlington's 40-7 win over Cicero 7 in the third-place game.
After a long delay, Chillicothe won the Tier 3 championship by an 18-12 score against Metamora 12. Rockford took the girls championship with a 40-0 win against Plainfield 0.
