Tyler Zeman, right, of the Lions Wrestling Club, holds on to Zachary Villareal, of the Downers Grove Cougars Wrestling Club. Villareal won the match 6-3 in the 108-pound Senior Division match. The Cougars wrestler later took home second place. Zeman finished eighth.


 

Cypress Ahart, of the Edwardsville Wrestling Club, gets taken to his back by Brandon Elbury, of the Xtreme Wrestling Club, in Senior Division 138-pound wrestleback action. Elsbury won by fall in 4:12 and went on to finish seventh.

 


 

Jake Hutchinson, of the Orland Park Pioneers, keeps the pressure on Kaishawn Hoskins, of the East St. Louis Wrestling Club. Hutchinson held on for the 3-2 win in the Senior Division 147-pound wrestleback match.

 

 

William Miller, of the Little Huskies, can't seem to figure out how get free of Jacob Dado, of the Orland Park Pioneers in their Novice Division 84-pound bout. Dado held on to win 8-7.

 


 


Tony Valentino looks to his Arlington Cardinals Wrestling Club coaches during his Senior Division 215-pound bout with Andrew McKeown, of Team NO Ego. Valentino won by fall in 3:34. He finished the state meet with a fifth place medal.


 

Donovan Holt, left, locks up LeAndre McKinnis, of the Will County Warriors. McKinnis recovered and scored a 7-2 decision.

 


 

Phillip Sims, left, of the Carbondale Wrestling Club, keeps hold of Michael Jaffe, of St. Charles North, during their Novice Division 79-pound wrestleback. Sims won 8-1 and later finished eighth.
 


 

Steven O'Neil-Swanson, top, of the Crystal Lake Wizards, looks to keep Vincent Rink, of the Brawlers Wrestling Club, on the mat in their Senior Division 74-pound wrestleback. Rink had enough to hold on for a 2-0 win.

 

 
 

Dylan Ragusin, of the Arlington Cardinals, keeps on the offensive in his Novice Division 66-pound wrestleback match against Ethen Doty, of the West Carroll Wrestling Club. Ragusin won 9-1.

 

 

Cameron Wolf, right, of the Sycamore Wrestling Club, battles to escape from Jacob Dado, of the Orland Park Pioneers/ Dado posted a 7-2 win in the in the Novice Division 84-pound bout.

Daniel Dominiak, left, of the Waubonsie Wrestling Club, looks to his coaches as Ricky Cantu, of the Western Illinois All-Stars keeps him grounded during their Senior Division 275-pound semifinal. Cantu advanced with a 7-2 win and finished second in the tournament. Dominiak took home fourth.

 

 

Luke Odom, right, of King Select Wrestling, struggles to get free of Bryan Smith, of the Harvey Twisters, in their 70-pound Novice Division semifinal match. Smith squeaked by with a 4-3 win.


 

Noah Napier, right, of Wolfpack wrestling, holds on to Maurice Suarez, of the Villa-Lombard Cougars, in their fifth-place match. Suarez managed to break free en route to his 7-4 win.

 


 


Nicholas Donovan, right, of the Villa-Lombard Cougars, keeps Jackson Kohlberg, of the Pitbull Wrestling Alliance, firmly on the mat as they battle for seventh-place in the Senior Division's 89-pound bracket.
