A lot of great wrestlers will be advancing to state from this weekend's Class 3A Lincoln-Way Central Sectional.
Meanwhile, a lot of great wrestlers will see their seasons end since only four individuals move on from each weight class.
Here's a closer look at the brackets with some of the possibilities to keep an eye on during the next couple of days.
103: Harlem's Derek Elmore (ranked 2nd) and Minooka's Leo Ruettiger (10th) could meet in the top semifinal.
Providence's Eddie Klimara (1st) is the favorite on the other side of the bracket, which also features West Aurora's Nicholas Drendel and Plainfield Central's Nathan Davis.
112: Neuqua Valley's Matt Cavallaris (6th) is one of the favorites in the upper bracket, which features Joliet's Carlos Garcia and Bolingbrook's Frankie Campos.
Providence's Edwin Cooper (1st) and Hononegah's Austin Waliullah (7th) are favorites on the other side, which also includes Minooka's Bobby Zabel.
119: Joliet's A.J. Juarez (3rd) and West Aurora's Miguel Venecia (8th) meet in the quarterfinals while Providence's Tom Ambrose (7th) could see the winner in the semifinals.
O'Fallon's Keith Surber (1st) and Lockport's Jameson Oster (2nd) could face off in the other semifinal but Minooka's Joeie Ruettiger and Plainfield Central's Luke Plese are dangerous.
125: Minooka's Brian Bokoski (5th) and O'Fallon's Lee Wise (10th) are favored in the upper bracket, which includes Joliet's Ryan Winchell.
West Aurora's Josh Zinzer (6th) and Boylan's Blaise Butler (8th) could see each other in the quarterfinals while Providence's Mike Togher (7th) may await them in the semifinals.
130: Lincoln-Way Central's Justin Farmer (4th) and Edwardsville's Greg Jackson (5th) could square off in the quarterfinals and Joliet's Mark Johnson (11th) may see Minooka's Blake Montella in the other upper bracket quarterfinal.
Providence's Jake Wojcik (3rd) and Moline's Jesse Colon (6th) are favored in the other bracket, which includes West Aurora's Sam McKinney and Plainfield South's Andrew Haney.
135: Minooka's Marcus Rangel (2nd) and Romeoville's Julian Brooks (5th) are the two favorites in the top half of the bracket.
Plainfield Central's Joey Uccardi (3rd) meets Lockport's Tony Tonelli and Neuqua Valley' Adam Stine (4th) takes on Lincoln-Way East's Mike Murphy in the preliminary round.
140: Plainfield Central's Eric Oyster (3rd) and Lincoln-Way Central's Adam Heimer (12th) are favored in the upper bracket, which also includes Lincoln-Way East's Jake Igyarto.
Neuqua Valley's Andy Spangler (5th) could face Romeoville's Donny Simpson (4th) in a quarterfinal match on the other side, which features Minooka's Jake Residori.
145: Neuqua Valley's Alex Cizek (7th) could see Bradley's Jake Gingerich while Edwardsville's Quincy Jackstadt (8th) is the other favorite in the top bracket.
Hononegah's Britt McMahon (4th) is favored to advance to the semifinals where he could run into Lincoln-Way East's A.J. Knoll (9th) or Minooka's Kalvin Hill.
152: Lockport's Kevin Bialka (3rd) and Minooka's Ryan Warczynski (6th) are the ones to beat in the upper half of the bracket.
Granite City's Tyler Carney (7th) and Harlem's Josh Anthony (5th) are favored in the other bracket, which includes Lincoln-Way Central's Tommy Gross, Plainfield Central's Josh Ellingwood and DeKalb's Joe Giuliano.
160: Neuqua Valley's Nick Proctor (2nd) is the big favorite in the top bracket while Joliet's Ivory Blackwell could also advance to the semifinals.
Granite City's Gary Walliser (11th) is favored in the other side, which features DeKalb's Deven Walker, Lincoln-Way Central's Kevin Ryan, Providence's Kyle Haney and Waubonsie Valley's Mike Lyons.
171: Hononegah's Matt Dwyer (4th) and Plainfield Central's Dan Deufel (6th) could meet in the quarterfinals while Lockport's Mark Stenberg (2nd) is favored to meet that winner in the semifinals.
O'Fallon's Marty Ercoline (7th) and Harlem's Sterling Hecox (3rd) are favorites on the other side, which includes Neuqua Valley's Dan Burk and Lincoln-Way Central's Pete Damiani.
189: West Aurora's Mario Gonzalez (2nd) is the clear favorite in the top bracket, which includes Lockport's Brad Johnson and Bolingbrook's Andrew Flynn.
Collinsville's Ryan Robinson (1st) could meet Plainfield Central's Grant Bushby (11th) in one quarterfinal while Neuqua Valley's Alex Zozulia (12th) may see Providence's Joey Michals in the other.
215: United Township's Robert Cooney (2nd) and Collinsville's Daniel Mueller (7th) are favored in the top bracket, which includes Minooka's Brandon Haase and Lockport's Alex Rodriguez.
Boylan's Zach Smith (4th) and Providence's Jacob Sheffer (12th) are favored in the bottom bracket, which includes Neuqua Valley's Mike Zozulia and Plainfie;ld Central's Nicoli Trevino.
285: Lincoln-Way East's Chris Narel (3rd) is favored to reach the semifinals while Plainfield Central's Lavelle Howard (No. 7) and Granite City's Casey Gushleff (11th) could meet in the other to bracket quarterfinal.
O'Fallon's Terrell Pugh (4th) is the favorite in the lower bracket, which includes Lockport's Mike Tetlow (8th), East Aurora's Abe Duran, Minooka's Cody Jones and Providence's Steve Laski.
