Mount Carmel wins in OT
The Caravan took down previously undefeated Peoria Central 68-62 in overtime.
Five Mount Carmel players scored in double figures led by 6-foot-1 junior G Tracy Abrams' 17 points. Six-foot-2 junior Adonis Filer added 13 points and four rebounds, and 6-foot-5 senior Billy Clark had 13 points, seven assists and four rebounds for the Caravan (7-1).
Peoria Central (5-1) was led by 6-foot-6 sophomore F Trey Kellum and 6-foot-2 senior G Tony Banks, who each scored 16 points and grabbed nine rebounds.
